Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Executive Housekeeper to lead and manage the housekeeping department. The ideal candidate will oversee all housekeeping operations to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction are consistently met. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and hygienic environment.
 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of all housekeeping staff, including room attendants, public area attendants, and laundry personnel.
  • Develop and implement housekeeping policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house to ensure quality and cleanliness.
  • Plan staff schedules, assign duties, and manage departmental budgets effectively.
  • Oversee training and development of housekeeping team members.
  • Maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linen, and guest amenities; place orders as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments, especially Front Office and Maintenance, to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Handle guest complaints or special requests professionally and promptly.
  • Prepare reports on department performance, occupancy forecasts, and staffing requirements.
 
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within housekeeping, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office and housekeeping management systems.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
