An exciting opportunity for an eRostering Manager has arisen within NHS Fife. You will be responsible for the ongoing business as usual management of the electronic rostering system within Fife. You will support effective configuration, implementation, and maintenance of the electronic rostering system, promoting best practice and provide ongoing support thereafter, to ensure the system is maintained to a high operational standard while also supporting the delivery of Safecare staffing legislation.

The manager will have day to day line management responsibility for the eRostering team. Initially working alongside the digital implementation team to support, facilitate and progress the implementation and continued use of rostering systems to ensure tight timescales and objectives are achieved. You will support users to ensure they are creating cost effective rosters which support the budget and will work closely with colleagues across Fife to ensure fairness and equality in roster production.

The manager will be responsible for establishing excellent working relationships with all directorates, and be an advocate of e-Rostering both during implementation and during Business As Usual.

NHS Fife is ambitious in developing its Digital and Information Strategy 2019-2024 to support organisational change and modernise service delivery for the benefit of staff, patients, carers and the public and the e-Rostering Programme is fundamental to this aim, therefore this post will act as a key advocate of this agenda.

You must be able to travel throughout Fife on occasion and sometimes across Scotland as required.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff.
