Description

Job purpose:
To carry out routine maintenance and repair of district heavy machinery, equipment and vehicles.
Qualifications:

Should hold a Higher Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.

 

Responsibilities

i. Identifying faults on motor vehicles/cycles and other machines;
ii. Supervising repair works in the department;
iii. Certifying repair works by contractors;
iv. Requisitioning for funds for the purchases of spares;
v. Preparing payment certificates for completed works.

Job Requirements

Required education: Diploma, Associate's degree
Required relevant work experience: 2 years
