JOB DETAILS:
Primary function:
- In charge of oilfield power system and electrical equipment maintenance and management.
- Resolve power system and electrical equipment issues and advise on Power System and Electrical Equipment management.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in and execute new oil-field power system and electrical equipment commissioning and start-up.
- Collect and follow up on electrical-related issues left out by the Engineering Team.
- Master the power systems, electrical equipment, ESD, and Fire & Gas system principles, including positioning and performance.
- Prepare and conduct Emergency response as per Emergency Response Plan.
- Execute instructions from the Maintenance supervisor
- Raise and handle power system and electrical equipment faults and reports
- Cooperate with other departments as and when necessary.
- Order electrical equipment spares and ensure sufficient spares stock.
- Lead the electrical team to carry out routine maintenance works accurately.
- Lead electrical issues troubleshooting and resolution
- Prepare electrical work plan and summary, and ensure proper implementation
- Cooperate with the Supervisor to control Electrical Budget.
- Lead and carry out electrical equipment preventive maintenance.
- Responsible for coordination and supervision of electrical-related contractor onsite work.
- Conduct onsite electrical-related national staff training.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the superior.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or related major.
- At least 8 years’ experience in Oil&Gas production Electrical maintenance, including 4 years as lead Electrical technician
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of Power Systems and Electrical Equipment.
- Experience with Power Systems and Electrical Equipment Maintenance
- Extensive experience in oil production management
- Familiar with international oil industry practice
