Role Overview

We are seeking passionate and skilled Electrical Engineers to join our team in Mbarara. This part-time position requires a collaborative and problem-solving mindset, where you will work closely with a team of professionals under the guidance of a team leader. You will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining electrical systems, contributing to our ongoing projects.

Position Details

• Employment Type: Part-time
• Location: On-site, Mbarara
• Reporting Structure: Reports to Team Leader
• Number of Vacancies: 3

Key Responsibilities

1. Modify, maintain, or repair electronics equipment or systems to ensure proper functioning.

2. Set up and operate specialized or standard test equipment to diagnose, test, or analyze the performance of electronic components, assemblies, or systems.

3. Install or maintain electrical control systems, industrial automation systems, or electrical equipment, including control circuits, variable speed drives, or programmable logic controllers.

4. Assemble electrical systems or prototypes, using hand tools or measuring instruments.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields.
• Experience: No required experience.
• Skills: Critical Thinking, Active Listening, Speaking, Monitoring, Systems Analysis.
• Knowledge: Computers and Electronics, Design, Mathematics, Production and Processing.
• Language: English and Swahili.

Desired Additional Skills:

• Complex Problem Solving
• Coordination

Beneficial Experience:

Experience in related projects or internships.

Knowledge of advanced electrical systems.

Preferred Certifications:

Any additional certifications relevant to electrical engineering.
