Status: Replacement (Effective 1st June 2025)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct classroom instruction for learners in a primary school setting.
- Develop lesson plans and instructional materials based on the curriculum.
- Assess and evaluate students’ progress through assignments and examinations.
- Provide guidance and support to pupils to enhance their learning.
- Maintain classroom discipline and promote a positive learning environment.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:
- A Grade III Teaching Certificate from a recognized teacher training institution.
- Registration with the Ministry of Education and Sports.
- Experience in teaching at the primary school level is an added advantage.
- Age requirement: 24 – 45 years.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ugandans to fill the vacant posts in Buvuma district Local Government. Applications should be submitted in triplicate and a PSF form no 3 revised (2008) should be used and fully signed by the applicant. It should be addressed to the secretary, District Service commission, Box 103 Lugazi or delivered at Buvuma District headquarters, office of the secretary DSC. The application forms can be obtained from all District Service Commissions countrywide, Public Service Commission and Health Service Commission, EDUCATION SERVICE COMMISSION or on Public Service website on www.publicservice.go.ug
Applicants should attach certified copies of academic/professional documents, valid practicing license where applicable, registration certificates, 3 recent passport photos and a photo copy of national ID, Certification should be from 2023 to date. Applicants should be between the age of 24 – 45 years.
