Job title: Drivers
Salary Scale： UGX 500,000 + 700,000

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Driving vehicles between different points as directed by the assigned supervisors.
• Ensuring compliance with traffic and road safety regulations
• Keeping the vehicle in good running order, tidy conditions and clean at all times
• Making timely reports on major and minor repairs to the Administrative Officer for action.
• Supervising
• Assisting the Transport Officer to ensure the regular servicing and preventive maintenance of the assigned vehicle(s)
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
• Drive company vehicles to the assigned destinations in line with company policies and guidelines.
• Ensure effective and efficient regular vehicle maintenance and servicing.
• Ensure safety of the vehicle while on duty and report any faults or defects promptly
• Ensure vehicle license and third party are valid and report renewals early enough.
• Maintain basic records regarding the vehicle for mileage and fuel accountability.
• Ensure proper maintenance of the vehicle by keeping it clean and serviced in time
• Any other duty that may be assigned from time to time by your immediate supervisor/manager.

Requirements
• General Education
• Good communication skills and must have some knowledge of the English Language
• At least four (05) years of relevant experience in a reputable organization.
• Practical knowledge of motor mechanics will be an added advantage.
• Possession of a clean valid driver’s permit/ license of classes A, B, CM, CH is a must
• Knowledge of motor Mechanics and vehicle maintenance skills is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of the government road traffic rules and regulations.
