JOB DETAILS:

Job Summary

The Driver will be responsible for safely driving staff and goods to designated locations, maintaining the vehicle in good condition, and ensuring adherence to all safety and traffic regulations. The role requires punctuality, a strong understanding of road safety, and excellent time management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport staff, partners, and materials to various locations as required

• Perform basic maintenance tasks on the vehicle, such as cleaning, refueling

• Ensure adherence to all road safety regulations, traffic laws, and LGF transport policies.

• Ensure the vehicle's documents, such as insurance and registration, are valid and up to date.

• Assist in loading and unloading items into the vehicle as necessary

• Adhere to health and safety standards, ensuring the vehicle is in good condition and that passengers follow safety protocols

• Respond appropriately to any emergencies on the road, ensuring that all passengers are safe and the situation is handled according to company protocols. • Perform any additional related duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications and Experience

• A UACE Certificate is required.

• At least five years of driving experience

• Valid driver’s license

• Knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws

• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions

• Ability to handle basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
