JOB DETAILS:

Primary Functions of the Position
Working in close collaboration with staff at the Africa Regional Office, the Driver is responsible for performing tasks related to driving and maintenance of PPD Africa Regional Office vehicles in a safe and economic manner according to the traffic laws and regulations of Uganda.

Duties and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Finance and Administration Officer, PPD Africa Regional Office, the Driver is responsible for;

• Transportation of staff and visitors as instructed
• Ensuring safety of passenger and allocated vehicles at all times.
• Maintenance of allocated vehicle mileage records to ensure that all trips, fuel fill up, time reading are recorded.
• Maintenance of vehicle allocated in sound mechanical conditions and general cleanliness.
• Prompt delivery of mails, equipment and maintain records of delivery.
• Timely servicing of the vehicle allocated.
• Parking of the office vehicle at close of business and handover the keys to the designated officer.
• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor and / or Head of Department
