Purpose:
To provide strategic leadership and coordination in the planning, management, and monitoring of health services within the district.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement district health plans and budgets.
• Supervise and monitor health programs and projects.
• Provide technical advice on health-related matters to the district council.
• Ensure compliance with health policies and standards.
• Monitor performance and manage health facilities within the district.
Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine or Public Health.
• Postgraduate qualifications in Public Health, Management, or a related field.
• Must be registered with the Uganda Medical Council and have a valid practicing license.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in health services management.
