SECRETARY DISTRICT SERVICE COMMISSION

Additional Job Descriptions (Based on Typical Roles in Local Government):

1. DISTRICT ENGINEER (Ref: KDLG/WRKS/2025)

• Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of district infrastructure projects (roads, buildings, water systems).
  • Supervise construction and maintenance works to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Prepare technical reports and budgets for engineering projects.
  • Liaise with contractors, consultants, and other government agencies.
• Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Registration with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB).
  • Experience in public works projects is an added advantage.
