- Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning and execution of engineering projects within the district.
- Supervise construction and maintenance of public infrastructure.
- Ensure adherence to engineering standards and regulations.
- Provide technical advice on engineering matters.
- Minimum Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Must be registered with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB).
- At least six years of relevant experience in engineering and project management.
- Preferred Skills:
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Proficiency in government procurement and project implementation processes.

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified Ugandans to fill the vacant posts that exist in Bugweri District Local Government. Applications should be submitted in triplicate on Public Service Commission Form 3 (Revised 2008) to the Secretary, Bugweri District Service Commission, P.O. Box 38, Bugweri.
Application forms are obtainable from the Public Service Commission offices, District Service Commissions countrywide, or can be downloaded from the Public Service Commission website: www.psc.go.ug. Handwritten applications with similar details are also acceptable.
Serving officers should route their applications through their respective Heads of Departments who should be informed of the closing date to avoid delay.
Applicants should attach three sets of certified photocopies of their academic certificates, transcripts, and other relevant documents, plus three recent passport-size photographs to each of the three application forms. Applicants should also attach a photocopy of their National Identity Card.
