Job Description:
The District Engineer will be responsible for overseeing engineering projects within the district. They will plan, design, supervise, and maintain infrastructure projects while ensuring compliance with government regulations and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Planning and supervising infrastructure development and maintenance within the district.
• Preparing project proposals, designs, and budgets for approval.
• Supervising contractors and ensuring that work complies with agreed plans and specifications.
• Inspecting completed projects and ensuring they meet the required standards.
• Preparing reports on project progress and expenditure.
• Advising the district administration on engineering-related matters.

Minimum Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Must be a registered engineer with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB).
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within a government or reputable organization.
• Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
