Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Supervise the implementation of all engineering and technical works in the district.
2. Develop and maintain the district's physical infrastructure and ensure compliance with approved standards.
3. Provide technical guidance and support on construction, repair, and maintenance of public facilities, including roads, bridges, and buildings.
4. Prepare and submit reports on technical activities and project progress to the Chief Administrative Officer.
5. Coordinate with stakeholders to plan and budget for district infrastructure development and ensure proper utilization of resources.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution.
2. Must be a registered member of the Uganda Institution of Professional Engineers (UIPE).
3. At least 5 years of relevant experience in public infrastructure planning and implementation.
4. Knowledge of government policies and standards for public works.
