Disposal of assets tenders at Yumbe District Local Government

Disposal Notice No.01

DISPOSAL METHOD: SALE TO PUBLIC

1. Yumbe District Local Government has concluded its board of survey report and intends to dispose off 19 vehicles and 60 motorcycles this financial year. The Assets are in LOTS and will be sold “as is where is”.
2. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Disposal procedures contained in the Government of Uganda’s Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003 and Disposal of Public Assets Regulations 2023.
3. Interested bidders may inspect the assets (Used Vehicles and Motorcycles) at Yumbe District Local Government (Yard) from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm during working hours.
4. Yumbe District Local Government now invites sealed Bids from interested bidders from the public for these Assets.
5. Interested Bidders shall obtain the bidding documents from the district and seek further clarification from; The Head Procurement and Disposal Unit, Yumbe District P.O. BOX 1 Yumbe.
6. Bid documents will be obtained at a non-refundable fee of UGX 30,000= To be paid through the IRAS system after obtaining payment request number (PRN) from the cashier.

NB: Conditions of Bidding are in the bidding document.

(a) All prices Quoted must be in Ugandan shillings.
(b) All applications must be properly sealed in ENVELOPES and marked “Tender for……….” and addressed to: -

Head Procurement and Disposal Unit: P.O. BOX 1, Yumbe District Local Government sealed in Triplicate, one original and two copies to be delivered to the above Office not later than 2nd April 2025, at 11:30 a.m.
(c) Opening shall be conducted the same day at 12:00 pm in PDU.
(d) Bidders or their Representatives are invited to witness Bid Opening.
