Role Overview:
The Dispenser manages the hospital pharmacy, ensuring accurate dispensing of medications and proper inventory management for pediatric patients.

Qualifications:

• Must have a Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.

Other Requirements:

• Should have communication, counseling, interpersonal, and team-building skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:
a) Compound drugs and give out medicines to patients.
b) Prepare sterile and pathogens-free infusions.
c) Advise patients and attendants in the proper use and storage of medicines.
d) Carry out regular servicing and ensure that they are functional.
e) Identify, classify, keep stock, and adhere to the professional Code of Conduct and Ethics.
f) Participate in training of students and other health workers.
g) Compile reports on drugs usage and submit to the Senior Dispenser.
h) Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
