Key Responsibilities

The Director of Human Resources will support the University Secretary in the following functions:

• Human resource planning and management
• Implementation of HR policies and procedures
• Management of staff welfare, payroll, and records
• Coordination of staff development programs
• Oversight of HR accountability and compliance
• Organizing and managing staff meetings

Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate must have:

• A Master’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field
• Registration with a recognized professional HR body in Uganda
• Professional HR certification (added advantage)
• A minimum of five (5) years of senior management experience in a reputable institution
• Strong leadership, planning, communication, and ICT skills
