Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.

On behalf of our client in the telecom industry, we are looking for competent, skilled and experienced Direct Sales Supervisor to work in Uganda.

Job Purpose: The Direct Sales Supervisor is responsible to manage the Direct sales team within defined geographical demarcation / sites. This includes but not limited to Providing leadership to the sales team by motivating and encouraging the team to ensure daily, weekly and monthly sales targets are met. Within the assigned sites, sales supervisor is responsible to guide and impact the team with sales knowledge, working ethics, compliance, route plans, conducting daily meetings, keeping team sales records and working as the bridge between sales agents and Area sales Manager.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Team Management: The incumbent needs to manage direct sales team within assigned sites
  • Sales and Distribution: ensure stock availability, installation SLAs are followed for sales done within assigned geographical demarcation.
  • Resolves customer and sales team complaints, staffing problems, report competition activities and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations
  • Collaborates with Line Manager and cross functional leaders and peers to develop sales initiatives in your area,
  • Directly or indirectly through your team in your area, consults with potential customers to understand their needs; identifies and suggests equipment, products, or services that will meet those needs,
  • Be present in the market on daily basis to support your team and lead by example,
  • Ensure compliance of sales processes, policies and recovery of devices from non compliant customers.
  • Ensuring excellent execution of agreed sales plans
  • Any other duties as assigned from time to time

Requirements

MANDATORY EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Qualifications:

  • Diploma of Business Administration or any equivalent qualification.
Skills
  • 3+ years of experience in leading a highly qualified and experienced team in a highly complex environment
  • 2 years of in-depth Sales and Marketing experience in the telecom/Devices selling/Corporate Sales/ Satellite TV industries or other related fields.
  • Category Understanding – Understanding the competition landscape within the OPCO – players, devices offered, packages, commission schemes etc.
  • Technology Understanding: Needs to understand solutions across both 5G and Fixed Wireless Services.
  • Should be able to guide and drive cross functional teams.
  • Resilience and ability to deliver against stretch targets
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit
  • Able to motivate and encourage the team to ensure sales targets are met
  • Able to plan and execute team route plans and evaluate performance on a daily basis
  • Able to operate in a performance driven organization
  • Good organizational and teamwork skills
