Position: Digital Marketing Executive

Overview: 

Our client is looking for a proactive and creative Digital Marketing Executive to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in digital marketing and be adept at driving online engagement and sales through various digital channels. This role involves developing and executing digital marketing campaigns, managing online content, and analyzing performance metrics to enhance our brand's online presence and achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies to drive traffic, engagement, and sales.
  • Manage and optimize e-commerce platforms, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Design and create visually appealing marketing materials, including graphics, social media posts, email campaigns, and advertisements.
  • Analyze and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns, using data to inform decisions and improve results.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing efforts with business goals.
  • Manage social media accounts and engage with the online community.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on e-commerce.
  • Proven experience as a hands-on designer, with proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including social media, and email marketing.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decisions.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the electronics or lifestyle products industry.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify and Jumia.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS and web design principles.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
  • Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
  • This position is primarily office-based with occasional travel for business meetings and events.
  • The role may require flexible hours to accommodate the founder’s schedule.
