JOB DETAILS:

JOB PURPOSE
The Digital Communications Specialist will play a key role in strengthening Spiro’s brand presence across digital platforms. This person will plan, create, and manage compelling digital content that drives awareness, engagement, and conversion — ensuring that all online communication reflects Spiro’s voice, purpose, and values.

QUALIFICATION/SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in digital communications, preferably in technology, mobility, or energy sectors.
  • Strong understanding of social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, Buffer).
  • Proficient in content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut, or similar).
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using analytics dashboards (Google Analytics, Meta Insights, etc.).
  • Passion for sustainability, innovation, and Africa’s growth story.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Digital Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and manage performance marketing campaigns across platforms (Google, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
  • Manage the company’s social media presence across platforms (LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
  • Plan, schedule, and monitor digital campaigns to support launches, events, and promotions.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to produce high-performing digital content and creatives.
  • Ensure alignment of all digital campaigns with brand objectives and customer journeys.

Content Creation & Management

  • Manage the creation of high-quality, on-brand content (graphics, videos, blogs, captions, infographics, etc.).
  • Write and edit clear, impactful copy for digital platforms, ensuring tone consistency.
  • Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to develop storytelling assets

Data Analytics & Performance Tracking

  • Track, analyze, and report on digital campaign performance using analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, etc.).
  • Identify insights, trends, and opportunities to improve conversion rates and engagement.
  • Maintain dashboards and performance reports to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Stay current with digital trends and emerging technologies relevant to electric mobility and sustainability.

Online Reputation & Community Management

  • Engage with online communities and respond to messages, comments, and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor and manage Spiro’s online reputation.
  • Foster positive relationships with digital influencers, media, and partners.
