Position Summary
The Development Operations Intern supports the administrative functions of Seed’s Development team. The intern will collaborate with the Managing Director of Development and sta to provide data management  and process support for team use of Salesforce, Dropbox, Mailchimp, and other departmental systems, to ensure appropriate recording and filing of prospect and donor information. The intern will contribute to and assist the Development team with event management, campaign creation and implementation, and strategic stewardship of Seed’s donor community.

Duties and Responsibilities
• In collaboration with relevant team members, responsibilities include the following:
Assist with data clean up and updates in Salesforce for Development leads, contacts, opportunities and campaigns.
• Support the organization of filing in Dropbox and Mailchimp.
• Support tax receipt and acknowledgement of Seed donors in a timely fashion.
• Run reports, synthesize information, and share updates about current and prospective donors.
• Assist the Development team with event production for fundraising, including tracking all related details in an organized manner, researching vendors and venues and assisting with planning and logistics.
Conduct initial donor and prospect research, as requested.
• Step into other special initiatives, projects and campaigns driven by the Development team on an as-needed basis.

Qualifications

• Strong sense of accountability, personal initiative, and responsibility
Solid organizational skills and careful attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including flexibility and a sense of humor
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and building organization work environment
• Experience with Google suite and Microsoft applications
• Experience with Salesforce preferred
• Knowledge of Mailchimp, Dropbox and Canva are a plus

Working Conditions
• Reports to the Donor Engagement O cer
• Number of Hours: 20-25 hours a week
• Timeframe: June 1 2023
• to August 31 2023

• Location: Remote
