Development assistant as consultant (m / w / d) for organizational development and strengthening the political participation of civil society
As a federal company, GIZ supports the Federal Government in achieving its goals in international cooperation for sustainable development.
Field of activity
The Civil Society in Uganda Support Program aims to strengthen civil society's capacity in Uganda. This happens in three fields of action
1. Promoting the framework for civil society engagement
2. Improving the participation of civil society in political processes and
3. Promoting internal organizational development, service delivery and advocacy of civil society actors.
To achieve this, state and civil society actors at national and subnational level are being assisted in intensifying and targeting the joint dialogue on the role of civil society in order to integrate civil society issues more effectively into policy processes.
In the second and third field of action, primarily support to selected civil society organizations (non-governmental organizations / NGOs, community based organizations / CBOs, cooperatives, associations, networks, etc.) in organizational development
Initiate and accompany the improvement of services and strengthen participation in political dialogue, especially with district administrations
Focus on advising NGOs / CBOs in Arua and adjacent districts in collaboration with a national advisor
Driving license class B
Willingness to frequent missions in the r
Several years of work experience in organizational development, knowledge management, fundraising.
Ideally work experience in intercultural teams in the African context and / or postconflict areas.
Experience in moderation, workshop design, design of training measures.
