Description
Established in 1979, the Lutheran World Federation (LWF) Uganda is part of the LWF World Service (LWF WS) based in Geneva, Switzerland, an international humanitarian and development agency. LWF Uganda is dedicated to reducing people’s vulnerability, supporting them in realizing their full potential, upholding their rights, and becoming more resilient. Operating in various locations across Uganda, including Pader, Kitgum, Lamwo, Adjumani, Kiryandongo, Kampala, Kamwenge, Kikuube, and Kyaka II Refugee Settlement (Uganda Operations Coordination Office), LWF Uganda focuses on significant sectors like protection, livelihood, water and sanitation, food security, and hygiene. It is committed to working with marginalized populations, including refugees and host communities.
