• Purpose:
The Deputy Headteacher assists the Headteacher in managing the school and ensuring smooth operations in academics, administration, and discipline.

• Responsibilities:
o Support the Headteacher in managing school operations and implementing policies.
o Coordinate teacher schedules, lesson plans, and classroom activities.
o Supervise academic programs and student assessments.

o Address disciplinary issues and ensure a safe learning environment.
o Represent the Headteacher in their absence and manage delegated responsibilities.

• Qualifications and Experience:
o Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field.
o At least 3 years of teaching experience, with 1 year in an administrative role.
o Familiarity with school management practices.

Box 01, Mbarara.
