Activities
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the Security Management Systems in the Company
• Conduct site reviews, write audit/review reports, review findings, and make recommendations for line management and/or their security coordinators.
• Perform risk analysis for the country, particularly with respect to the level of crime, terrorism, workplace violence, and threats from natural and man-made disasters.
• Providing advice and counsel to line management on security policy and practices. Identifies exposures and recommends and develops corrective plans as appropriate. Serve as security support to management and assist in conducting investigations of significant threats and/or the loss or misappropriation of assets.
• Organize Voluntary Principles on Security Human Rights (VPSHR) training for all Contractors, Company personnel, and Security stakeholders.
• Ensure the organization complies with relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and technical guidance in all matters relating to security.
• Participate in devising and implementing security plans and programs, such as Physical Security, security awareness campaigns, Information Protection, Incident Management, and/or Investigation.
• Maintain knowledge of complex industry trends, current security issues, and security technology and update management on risks and threats that could impact company business.
• Liaise with the National Authorities about threats and risks that could impact company business.
• Prepare Budget and advise management on the expenditures of resources for the protection of company assets where compromised or loss of these assets could seriously affect company business.
• Prepare and participate in the process of procuring security services and during the execution and implementation of the contracts.
• Perform incident analysis and investigation relative to all incidents with advice and closure to all responsible functional management and supporting security management.
• Develop and implements a security program which includes developing a training program for all security representatives for each region.
• Provide leadership, advice, and counsel to all security staff in achieving current and long-range strategic program objectives.
• Monitor and evaluate unit performance on key security issues and programs and recommend corrective action programs where appropriate.
• Participate in the Crisis Management System.
