JOB DETAILS:

We are seeking mid-level Dentists to deliver high-quality oral healthcare services in Kampala. The successful candidates will be responsible for general patient care, clinical diagnostics, comprehensive treatment planning, and executing routine and advanced dental procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care & Consultation: Perform oral health examinations, assess patient medical histories, and provide compassionate dental care.
• Diagnostics & Treatment Planning: Diagnose dental diseases, interpret oral radiography/X-rays, and formulate personalized treatment plans.
• Dental Procedures: Perform clinical procedures including dental restorations, extractions, root canal therapies, scaling and polishing, and preventive care.
• Patient Education: Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-procedure care, and preventive dental health measures.
• Clinical Safety & Hygiene: Maintain strict compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and infection control protocols in line with national health guidelines.

• Ordering and interpreting X-rays and other diagnostic tests
• Monitoring the development of the teeth and jaws
• Educating patients about the importance of oral health
• Creating individualized treatment plans for each patient
• Providing instructions on how to care for one's teeth and gums
• Prescribing antibiotics or other medication
• Administering anesthetics before procedures to prevent patients from feeling pain
• Placing whitening agents on the teeth
• Removing decay and filling cavities
• Repairing or removing damaged teeth
• Conducting regular checkups and teeth cleanings
