About the Client
Biyinzika Poultry International Limited (BPIL) is Uganda's leading integrated poultry company, known for producing high-quality day-old chicks, HACCP-certified animal feed, and chicken meat products under the Pearl Chicken brand. Operating over 40 branches in Uganda and East Africa, BPIL is a recognized household name.

Responsibilities
Data Management and Optimization
• Optimize customer and item master databases.
• Monitor and evaluate data from various sources, such as representative tracking, sales, cold room/freezer loggers, delivery statistics, media data, and market pricing.
• Maintain a centralized document management system for the commercial department, ensuring report accuracy and relevance.
Data Analysis and Reporting

• Interpret raw data, turning it into actionable insights to support business decisions.
• Set up standardized reports for the department and handle special data requests.

• Deliver high-impact insights to drive business growth.
Database Design and Maintenance
• Design database systems and management tools.
• Install, update, and maintain computer databases.
• Create customized reports and implement robust data security protocols.

• Assess database performance, develop protocols for improvement, and identify problem areas.
Security and Recovery
• Prepare access and control policies to secure databases.
• Implement disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity.
Collaboration and Support
• Support application design by contributing technical expertise to operations and technical teams.
• Work with commercial teams to integrate data insights into decision-making processes.

Person Specification
Education and Training
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Database Architecture, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Certifications: Microsoft Certified Data Analyst, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau.
Skills and Experience
• 6-7 years’ experience in data management, analysis, and reporting.
• Proficiency in leveraging Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to optimize operations.

• Expertise in creating customized reports and managing database systems.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.
• Knowledge of database security, recovery protocols, and performance assessment.
