Job Description:
We are looking for a Data Entry operator to update and maintain information on our company databases and computer systems. Data Entry Operator responsibilities include collecting and entering data in databases and maintaining accurate records of valuable company information. Our ideal candidate has essential data entry skills, like fast typing with an eye for detail, finance finance-related processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify, allocate and post daily expenses.
- Posting invoices on EFRIS (URA System).
- Daily and monthly EFRIS reports to upper management.
- Posting all payments and receipts.
- Posting Bank charges.
- Support the month-end and year-end close process.
- Ensuring all the data is recorded and documented properly.
- Communicate with the accountant on work status and any issues that arise.
Qualifications and skills:
- High school diploma or higher in an accounting-related field.
- Proven experience as a Data entrant. (Minimum 2-3 years).
- Basic knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including URA Tax laws.
- Proficient user of accounting software.
- Fast typing ability, with an eye for accuracy.
- Active Learner and deadline-oriented.
- Numeracy Skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Organisation skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks.
- Knowledge of the bakery or FMCG industry is an advantage.
