JOB DETAILS:

Vanguard Economics Ltd, a research and advisory company with offices in Rwanda, Uganda and Kenya, is inviting motivated and qualified individuals to join our talent pool as Data Collectors (enumerator, back checker, field supervisor, transcriber, notetaker, or moderator). You will play a crucial role in field data collection efforts, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and ethical standards in gathering information from diverse communities across all the districts of Uganda.

The opportunity comes with additional offers in Certified training in social research, paid fieldwork opportunities across Uganda, career growth through mentorship and field experience, as well as a chance to influence policy through evidence.

Who can apply:

• Graduates in social sciences, statistics, economics, or related fields.
• Experience in data collection and ability to read, write, and speak English and any of the local languages spoken in Uganda (i.e. Acholi, Alur, Ateso, Karamojong, Lango, Lugbar, Lugwere, Lusoga, Luganda, Luo, Rukiga, Runyankore, Rutooro, Swahili).
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively outside of Kampala, including remote rural areas, to conduct interviews and collect data.
