About US:
Yalelo (U) Limited is a tilapia fish farm that was established in Uganda in 2019. The farm is located in Butembe, Buikwe district on the shores of Lake Victoria. Yalelo Uganda is a subsidiary of First Wave Group B.V; a Dutch company with a portfolio of aquaculture related assets in Africa. First Wave Group owns and operates Yalelo Zambia, a pioneer of Aquaculture founded in 2011 that has grown quickly to become the leading fish farm in Zambia and among the largest aquaculture farms in Africa.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interrogate data collection process, maps data flows, and advise on strategic solutions.
- Build out new data systems for points of capture across the Organization.
- Assist Head – Data & Analytics Uganda with database management, data hygiene, and additional tasks
- Assist in the build out of key executive dashboards across Yalelo Uganda (via visualization systems like powerBI).
- Troubleshoot issues related to data management and data input
- Lead field team in appropriate training and maintenance of data capture and quality upkeep.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Statistics.
- At least four years of relevant work experience is required
- Should have experience in data management, systems management, data visualization and presentation making
- Excellent professional, integrity, confidentiality, analytical, innovative skills.
- Should be flexible, results focused, with good report writing skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills with a positive attitude.
- Should be willing to work in the field and outdoors to collect data
