Overview
Collaborate with the organizational units within SITES to provide technical support to USG teams and implementing partners, as well as work closely with national and subnational stakeholders to support evidence-based planning, programming, and management of Uganda’s health sector.

Responsibilities
Support the development and implementation USG/SITES’s analytical agenda Including leading Use of evidence by USAID Family Health (FH) and HIV/AIDS Teams and IPs to inform planning, programming, and management of Uganda’s health sector.
• Produce analytic briefs and factsheets based on guidance from SITES management team.

• Develop, review, and update the Family Health and HIV/AIDS Dashboards

• Engage IPs to undertake data cleaning/quality control activities for the Family Health and HIV/AIDS Dashboard leaks/gaps.
• Prepare USAID Family Health and HIV/AIDS IP's performance summary reports.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc Family Health & Malaria analytics Support analytics for Government/MoH Division of Health Information

Performance management and improvement of implementing partners and results management at national and subnational levels.
• Support USAID in reviewing AMELPs of Partners for alignment to cater for key USAID FH indicators.
• Prepare periodic strategic FHT IP presentations and/or feedback to facilitate performance reviews.

• Collaborate with the USAID Technical specialist/AORs to design, plan and lead them implementation of learning events at SITES and among implementing partners.
• Support the design and implementation of continuous evaluation and innovation (CE&I) activities including rapid assessments and special studies and Lot quality assurance sampling surveys.

• Support the review and revision of the data collection tools for relevant national databases including but not limited to the health management information system (HMIS) and database DHIS 2, OVC MIS.
• Lead the automation of Family Health and HIV f analytic processes.
• Support integration of the automated Family Health data cleaning algorithms into the HIBRID Repository

Qualifications
• Master’s degree in public health with a bias in statistics/biostatistics, epidemiology or equivalent.
• At least 5 years’ experience of direct data analysis using qualitative and quantitative methods.
• At least 3 years using DHIS2, EMR and other data sources to carry out Family Health and HIV/AIDS data analysis.
• A clear understanding of M&E functions in development organization setting.
• Experience working on US Government funded interventions is added advantage.
