Job Description/Requirements
- Operate various types of cranes (e.g., tower cranes, mobile cranes, overhead cranes) safely and efficiently.
- Inspect the crane and related lifting equipment before each operation to ensure proper working condition.
- Follow all safety procedures, load charts, and lifting plans to prevent accidents and damage.
- Communicate effectively with signalers, riggers, and site supervisors during lifting operations.
- Position loads accurately as directed and ensure proper rigging and balance of materials.
- Monitor equipment performance and promptly report any mechanical issues or malfunctions.
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor adjustments on cranes as required.
- Keep accurate records of daily crane operations, fuel usage, and maintenance logs.
- Comply with company policies, occupational health and safety regulations, and local laws.
- Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions to maintain certification and skills.
