JOB DETAILS:
We are seeking high-caliber, results-oriented, experienced, and highly skilled sales professionals for the position of Country Sales Manager - Civil Servants’ Loans.
The successful individuals will oversee the sales and operational activities, planning, direction, and management of the sales team across the Country operations in civil servants lending. Successful candidates will be responsible for implementing strategies to meet performance goals in relation to sales growth, market share, stakeholder relationship management and people management in the branches under their direct control.
Qualification Requirements:
• A Degree from a recognized institution in Sales & Marketing, Business Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven track record of integrity; analytical, well-organized, and knowledgeable in credit activities.
• Demonstrated ability as a team player and self-starter, capable of working towards achieving set targets.
• Creative in finding solutions and able to work under pressure with minimum supervision in an aggressive sales target environment.
• At least 7 years of experience in Sales and Marketing within a financial or insurance institution, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to cultivate a high-performance culture within the team.
• Excellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
• Strong relationship building skills with stakeholders. Excellent reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Overall Responsibility:
• Lead, supervise, and mentor regional managers across various zones to ensure the achievement of Country sales targets.
• Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to drive the institution’s growth in both existing and new markets.
• Grow and maintain the portfolio of the regions, ensuring all Regional Sales Managers and Team Leaders meet their targets.
• Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of regional managers and their teams.
• Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality customer service and problem resolution across all regions.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of regions, ensuring compliance with institutional policies and procedures.
• Provide regular reports on Country performance, sales targets, and market trends to senior management.
• Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment across the country
• Implement technology projects geared towards business growth and improved business efficiency.
• Identify and develop talents of the sales team across the country.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute Overall business growth strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Support regional managers in marketing the institution’s products to potential clients.
• Advise clients on borrowing and loan management, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
• Identify and mitigate credit risks in line with institutional policies.
• Ensure timely submission of daily, weekly, and monthly reports from regions.
• Coordinate with the HR department to ensure proper staffing and training needs are met.
• Maintain a strong presence in the market, representing the institution at key events and meetings.
• Initiate and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
• Conduct regular sales meeting to address goals and progress to date and a review of individual performance among others.
• Responsible for the market share growth.
