Save the Children International has an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as the Country Office Implementation Manager – TE Transformation inLondon, UK orany existing Save the Children International Regional or Country office worldwide.

Role Purpose:

The Country Office Readiness Manager sits within the Project and Change Management Team that is part of the Transformation Delivery Department within Save the Children International. This team is responsible for managing the change management activities and deployment of projects into 60 Country and Regional offices and 29 Member organisations. We support different types of Transformation Projects and Programmes relating to Business Process, Organisation and System changes.

The project that this role will support is the Technical Expertise (TE) Transformation Project. For Save the Children to achieve our Ambition for Children 2030, we need to have the right level of technical expertise in the right place doing the right things. TE is critical for designing and delivering, mobilising resources, building capacity, advocating for change, influencing policy and practice, building our evidence, and disseminating our learning on what works for children.

In this role, you will be responsible for working with country office leadership to help them strengthen their technical capacity and capability. This will require embedding a number of tools and processes, but more importantly engaging with senior leadership stakeholders to drive culture and behaviour change. You will contribute to tracking and reflecting on the pace and impact of this change.

It is a complex project that has a high level of visibility and interest across the Save the Children movement, and a wide range of stakeholders involved.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Essential

  • Demonstrated experience and capability in influencing and leading change within a large and complex international organisation.
  • Understanding of new business development process
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proven ability to influence beyond authority
  • Experience in culture and behaviour change interventions
  • Experience of solving issues through analysis, definition of a clear way forward and ensuring buy in from a range of stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills. Engaging as well as assertive, influencing and negotiating. Fluency in English.
  • Ability to analyse and present data in a clear and compelling way
  • True passion for results, responsibility and proactivity
  • Competent in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Desirable

  • Understanding of Country Office structures and funding mechanisms in Save the Children
  • Fluent in French or Spanish

We can offer circa £57,000 per annum (If based in UK) with an option of flexible working hours. If the role is based outside of the UK, National T&C (including pay) will apply.
