FairMoney is a pioneering mobile banking institution specializing in extending credit to emerging markets. Established in 2017, the company currently operates primarily within Nigeria, and it has secured nearly €50 million in funding from renowned global investors, including Tiger Global, DST, and Flourish Ventures. FairMoney maintains a strong international presence, with offices in several countries, including France, Nigeria, Germany, Latvia, the UK, Türkiye, and India.
In alignment with its vision, FairMoney is actively constructing the foremost mobile banking platform and point-of-sale (POS) solution tailored for emerging markets. The journey began with the introduction of a digital microcredit application exclusively available on Android and iOS devices. Today, FairMoney has significantly expanded its range of services, encompassing a comprehensive suite of financial products, such as current accounts, savings accounts, debit cards, and state-of-the-art POS solutions designed to meet the needs of both merchants and agents.

Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated leader to helm FairMoney's expansion in Uganda. This role is not just about managing; it's about innovating, pioneering, and setting the strategic direction for our operations. Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field, with additional qualifications as a plus.

• Fluency in English and proficiency in local languages.

• A track record of achieving significant milestones or transformations within these sectors.
• Knowledge of the digital finance ecosystem and how to leverage it for exponential growth.

Key Responsibilities
• Leadership and Visionary Representation: Represent FairMoney Uganda as a charismatic leader. Set a standard for passionate, energetic leadership both within the organization and in public. Engage in thought leadership, shaping the industry narrative and representing our brand with pride and integrity.
• Proactive Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with all tiers of stakeholders, from government officials and regulatory bodies to business partners and customers. Be the diplomatic yet assertive face of FairMoney, skillfully navigating the business landscape.

• Regulatory Mastery and Advisory: Ensure seamless compliance with local laws and tax systems. Act not just as a follower of regulations but as an anticipatory strategist, keeping the company ahead of legal and fiscal changes.
• Inspirational Team Cultivation: Build a powerhouse team by identifying and nurturing top talent. Establish a culture of high performance, where motivation and morale are as high as productivity and results.
