Background

Our client, a leading international technology company, is seeking an experienced Country Manager to establish and grow its operations in Uganda. The successful candidate will lead business growth, strategic partnerships, government engagement, branding, marketing, and overall business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive business growth and market expansion.
• Build strategic partnerships across government, banking, telecom, education, and enterprise sectors.
• Lead business development, sales, branding, and marketing initiatives.
• Establish and oversee local operations.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure operational excellence.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Strategic  Management, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• Master's Degree (MBA or related) is an added advantage.
• Minimum 7 years' experience in senior management, business development, commercial leadership, or country management.
• Must be a Ugandan who has worked or is currently working in China and understands Chinese business culture.
• Proven experience in business growth, strategic partnerships, branding, marketing, and leadership.
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and commercial skills.
