Job Description/Requirements
The USAID Feed the Future Uganda Institutional and Systems Strengthening (ISS) Activity is a five-year Activity implemented by DT Global. The goal of the Activity is for key national level Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), and industry apex organizations (IAOs) that are vital to driving inclusive agriculture-led economic growth to fulfill their mandate, leading to pathways to prosperity, improved resilience, and better nutrition for the people of Uganda. The purpose of the Activity is to improve the performance and structures of MDAs and IAOs.
The Feed the Future Uganda ISS Activity is getting into its fourth year of implementation, and this comes with the increased need to produce programmatic learnings from different stakeholder perspectives who include among others Implementing Partners and partner MDAs, IAOs. In previous implementation periods, the Activity has rolled out the learning agenda with staff and now wished to broaden the scope. Because of the depth and expertise required for this, the Activity would like to procure the services of a consultant to offer support with data collection, review of previous learning reports, and development of the Activity’s Learning Report for FY24. The Activity will allocate a maximum of 10days for the consultant. Thus, this scope of work outlines the responsibilities and deliverables expected from the consultant. The consultant will use the approved marking and branding manual for all products she/he will develop and/or review under this scope of work.
Each scope of work will detail deliverables which may include.
- Data Analysis Report: A synthesized analysis of the collected data, highlighting key findings, trends, and insights that relate to the learning questions.
- Draft Learning Report: A comprehensive draft report based on the analysis, presenting findings in a structured manner. This report should be aligned with the objectives of the Learning Agenda and include evidence-backed conclusions.
- Final Learning Report; A polished and publishable version of the learning report, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and peer reviewers. This document should be professionally written and ready for publication or dissemination.
- Presentation of Findings; A presentation summarizing the key findings, insights, and recommendations. This will be shared with the Activity team.
