JOB DETAILS:

With more than 40 years of experience forging multisector partnerships and with expertise in science, economics, technology, advocacy, and dozens of other specialties, PATH develops and scales up innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing heath challenges.
The Program Associate II will work closely with Program Officers, and functional leaders to support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of various programs. You are responsible for conducting research, preparing reports, coordinating meetings and events, and will provide other support as needed to the team.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DELIVERABLES/JOB DUTIES
• You conduct research on public health topics and provide written summaries of findings
• You assist in the development and implementation of public health programs
• You prepare reports and presentations on program activities and outcomes
• You coordinate meetings and events, including logistics and agenda preparation
• You collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure program goals are met
• You support monitoring of program budgets and assist with financial reporting
• You will participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall success of the program

PROBLEM SOLVING
• As a Program Associate you will be expected to identify problems and work with Program Officers and Program Managers to develop and implement solutions. You will have the ability to work independently and use critical thinking skills to identify opportunities for program improvement.
INDEPENDENCE OF ACTION
• You will work under the direction of the Program Officers but will be expected to work independently on assigned tasks. To be successful you should be able to prioritize work and manage your time effectively to meet deadlines..

KNOWLEDGE & APPLICATION
• You will have a strong understanding of public health principles and practices and be able to apply this knowledge to the development and implementation of programs, and use data to inform decision making.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
• Interest and passion for working in public health
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience with program planning and evaluation preferred
• Knowledge of public health issues and trends
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
