JOB DETAILS:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Coordination:
   • Oversee the construction of the perimeter wall, ensuring adherence to the approved structural plan.
   • Coordinate site visits for potential bidders on 29th and 30th May 2025.
2. Bid Evaluation & Management:
   • Review and evaluate bid proposals submitted by 18th June 2025, ensuring compliance with all requirements (construction amount, detailed quantities, phases, duration, and contractor details).
   • Liaise with the Managing Director’s office to select the successful bidder.
3. Regulatory Compliance:
   • Verify that all contractors possess valid registration certificates with URSB, NCA, ERB, and other relevant regulatory bodies.
   • Ensure all construction activities comply with local building codes and safety standards.
4. Stakeholder Communication:
   • Serve as the primary point of contact for contractors, addressing inquiries via phone (07535322436) or email.
   • Notify the successful bidder by 16th July 2025 via formal email communication.
5. Project Execution:
   • Monitor construction phases, timelines, and quality of work to ensure timely completion.
   • Resolve any on-site issues or delays promptly.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Proven experience in managing construction projects, preferably perimeter walls or similar structures.
• Strong knowledge of Ugandan construction regulations and standards.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
