Role Overview
The Compliance and Administrative Associate will play a key role in ensuring the firm adheres to regulatory requirements while maintaining best practices in compliance and operational efficiency. As part of a small yet dedicated team, you will support various compliance functions and handle administrative tasks that facilitate seamless internal operations. We seek a detail-oriented and proactive individual who embodies analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, contributing to our commitment to integrity and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
• Evaluate applications, records, or documents to gather information about eligibility or liability issues.
• Advise licensees or other individuals or groups concerning licensing, permit, or passport regulations.
• Prepare reports of activities, evaluations, recommendations, or decisions.
• Report law or regulation violations to appropriate boards or agencies.
• Prepare correspondence to inform concerned parties of licensing decisions or appeals processes.
• Confer with or interview officials, technical or professional specialists, or applicants to obtain information or clarify facts relevant to licensing decisions.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
• Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or other related fields.
• Required Experience: 2-3 years in compliance or administrative roles, preferably in the financial or investment industry.
• Mandatory Skills: Reading Comprehension, Writing, Judgment and Decision Making, Critical Thinking, Time Management.
• Required Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in Google Sheets, Google Docs, Microsoft 365, Gmail, Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe PDF, and Microsoft Word.
• Language Requirements: Proficient in English.
Preferred Qualifications
• Desired Additional Skills: Monitoring, Complex Problem Solving, Active Learning.
• Beneficial Experience: Experience in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
• Preferred Certifications: Diploma in law; certification in compliance (e.g., ICA, CAMS) is a plus.
• Additional Technical Knowledge: Understanding of customer and personal service.
