Do you have a passion for creating impact through communications and marketing? At Her Voice Africa, we’re on a mission to amplify the voices of vulnerable girls and women,
helping them shape brighter futures for themselves and their communities. We’re looking for a Communications and Marketing Officer to join our growing team and bring our vision to life through strategic and creative communication efforts.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Communications and Marketing Officer, you’ll:
• Design and Implement Strategies: Craft communication and marketing plans that
• elevate Her Voice Africa’s profile and drive support for our programs.
• Manage Digital Presence: Oversee social media platforms, websites, and email
• campaigns to deliver consistent and engaging messaging.
• Create Compelling Content: Develop content that tells the story of Her Voice
• Africa’s impact—from newsletters to press releases, blogs to social media posts.
• Build Media and Stakeholder Relations: Cultivate relationships with media,
• donors, and partners to amplify our reach and influence.
• Analyze and Report: Track the effectiveness of campaigns using analytics, ensuring we continuously improve our efforts.
What We’re Looking For
• Education: A diploma or degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a
• related field.
• Experience: Prior experience in managing digital platforms, developing marketing
• strategies, or creating content. Fresh graduates with relevant internships are
• encouraged to apply.
• Skills: Strong storytelling, writing, and editing abilities. Proficiency in social media
• management and basic design tools like Canva is a plus.
• Mindset: A self-starter who is creative, collaborative, and committed to Her Voice
Africa’s mission.
• Adaptability: Eager to learn and grow, with a readiness to take on challenges in a
• dynamic environment.
