About Organisation:

Uganda Free Zones and Export Promotions Authority (UFZEPA) is a Statutory Government Agency established by the Free Zones (Amendment) Act 30 of 2024, and is responsible for the establishment, development, management, marketing, maintenance, supervision and control of Free Zones; the development, promotion and coordination of all export-related activities; and to provide for related matters.

Job Summary: To implement communication and public relations plans and programs of the Authority

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identify pertinent issues in the media for action
• Implement public relations and information dissemination programs
• Respond to public information concerns and queries
• Disseminate awareness materials (newsletters, brochures, etc.)
• Update repository of press releases and communication materials
• Research and provide content across media platforms
• Liaise with Government communication entities for dissemination
• Plan, budget and account for the communications function

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Communication Studies or Public Relations
