Description
Job Title : Cold Chain Assistant
Salary Scale : U7
Reports To : Cold Chain Technician
Job Purpose
To assist in the installation and maintenance of an efficient Cold Chain System for safe storage of
Vaccines and other Medicines.
Key Out puts
i. Assistance in installation and maintenance of Cold Chain System;
ii. Major faults reported;
iii. Assistance in safe storage of vaccines and other medicines provided;
iv. Allocated resources accounted for;
v. Reports compiled and submitted; and
vi. Participation in immunization activities.
Key Functions
i. Assisting in installing and maintaining Cold Chain System;
ii. Identifying and repairing minor faults at site and report major ones to Cold Chain Technician;
iii. Assisting in safe storage of vaccines and other medicines;
iv. Managing and accounting for allocated resources;
v. Compiling and submitting reports to Cold Chain Technician; and
vi. Participating in immunization activities.
