JOB DETAILS:
Primary Functions:
Responsible for following quality of coating and insulation activities performed during installation & commissioning steps.

Responsibilities:
• Participate in the writing of Verification & Certification Activity Report (VCAR), defining Scope of work & budget on coating subject.
• Carry out certification and verification of coating and insulation activities as per agreed scheme and in accordance with specified requirements.

• Ensure the integrity and traceability of all associated painting and insulation activities including blasting, coating, and curing, weatherproof jacket installation etc.
• Verify that all vessels, tanks, and other product lines comply with all relevant coating quality standards and regulations (i.e. ASME and API, NACE etc.).
• Review reports and records of painting & insulation including surface preparation, internal and external coating and inspection, insulation material handling, and all related procedures.
• Witness activities such as insulation surface preparation, binding and covering etc. based on the related procedures, design requirements and applicable codes etc.

Qualification:
• Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Diploma or above.
• NACE level II certification
• Corrosion and protection, Material Chemistry or the related.
• At least 10 years of experience
• At least 3 similar experiences working in international projects
• Coating management, coating inspection, coating monitoring
• Minimum Certificate of Registered Supervision Engineer or equivalent
• Extensive knowledge of construction, installation, and commissioning.
• Knowledge of the Certification scheme
• Extensive knowledge of safety in the oil and gas industry.
• Familiar with Corrosion and Insulation works for oil field site construction projects.
• Have similar working experience in international projects.
• Ability to review and analyse report compliance with approved procedure requirement
• Ability to recognize and evaluate weld discontinuities, areas of improvement, and other weaknesses in all products.
• Ability to read drawings.
• Good health is required.
• Good at using micro-office software and CAD software.
• Strong executive ability, clear working ideas, strong communication skills, team spirit, good interpersonal skills.
