Job Summary:   The Client Operations Manager will supervise the execution of logistics works for a specific client portfolio, manage related communication with clients, and ensure operational excellence.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Team Management: Lead, motivate, and develop a team to achieve quality of service goals.
  • Client Relationship Management: Manage operational relationships with clients, receive transit orders, and provide progress updates.
  • File Processing: Monitor and control file processing, ensure SOPs are applied, and allocate files to operators.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure operations are performed with respect to gross margin and disbursements, and control costs.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve operational issues, and alert management and N+1 as necessary.
  • Overall, the Client Operations Manager will oversee the execution of logistics works, manage client relationships, and ensure operational excellence.
  • Tools:
    • Business software (SPOT, Qlikview)
    • Financial reports: Detail of the costs per COM (monthly)
    • Standard Operating Procedures
  • Targets and Goals:
    • 100% target on quality-of-service KPI (including Client’s KPI)
    • 100% target on budgeted costs

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in clearing and forwarding
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and email
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and push people to a common goal
  • Natural leader and team player
