About the job

The Role

We would like to invite candidates to apply for this very varied and interesting administrative post working with a large team of both clinicians and administrative staff across our pan-Lanarkshire Diabetes service. On a day-to-day basis, you will be working closely with a small team of staff in Coathill Hospital and you will be provided with all necessary training and support to enable you to become proficient with our current IT systems and databases. You will be working Monday to Friday although the hours can be negotiated with your line manager

What we'll need you to bring

  • Educated to standard grade level or experience in a similar role
  • Well developed interpersonal skills in customer care.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good organisational and planning skills.
  • Understanding of a range of procedures and processes.
  • Ability to prioritise work and work on own initiative whilst under pressure.
  • Proficient I.T. skills which include a working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
  • Ensuring confidentiality, diplomacy and discretion are maintained at all times.

It would be great if you also have

  • Previous office experience, including use of Excel and MS Outlook
  • Previous NHS experience
  • Flexible working hours

This role will be based in Adult Diabetes Service within Coathill Hospital

The working pattern for this role is Monday to Friday
