JOB DETAILS:
Quality Plastics (U) LTD is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaning Coordinator who will be responsible for overseeing cleaning staff and ensuring all areas of the facility meet Cleanliness and sanitation. This role involves scheduling training and supervising cleaning personnel while maintaining inventory and ensuring compliance with Health and Safety Regulations.
Key Responsibilities.
▪ Develop and implement cleaning schedules for different areas of the facility.
▪ Ensure cleaning tasks are performed efficiently and in line with company standards.
▪ Conduct regular inspections to maintain high cleanliness and hygiene levels.
▪ Assign duties to cleaning staff and monitor performance.
▪ Train new and existing staff on cleaning techniques, equipment use, and safety protocols.
▪ Address staff concerns and provide guidance on best practices.
▪ Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment.
▪ Ensure timely procurement and replenishment of cleaning materials.
▪ Keep records of stock usage and report shortages to management.
▪ Ensure all cleaning activities comply with health and safety regulations.
▪ Conduct risk assessments and implement necessary precautions.
▪ Respond promptly to any cleanliness-related complaints or hazards.
▪ Maintain records of cleaning schedules, staff attendance, and supply usage.
▪ Prepare reports on cleanliness standards and improvement areas.
▪ Communicate with management regarding any maintenance or operational issues.
▪ Any other duties assigned as per the SHEQ Manager
Requirements
- Proven experience in a cleaning or housekeeping supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication skills and ability to interact with staff and management.
- Basic computer skills for reporting and scheduling (preferred).
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in cleaning or facility management (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in a cleaning or facility maintenance role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
- Knowledge in ISO, FSSC 22000, NEMA, UNBS, Occupational health and safety, Standard requirements
- Working experience in a manufacturing set up will be an added advantage
