We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Engineer/AutoCAD Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering principles and possess expertise in AutoCAD software. This role will involve collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to design, plan, and implement various civil engineering projects. The candidate should have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize AutoCAD software to prepare detailed drawings, plans, and designs for civil engineering projects including but not limited to site development, roadways, drainage systems, and utilities.
• Work closely with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements, objectives, and specifications.
• Conduct site visits and surveys to gather necessary data and information for project planning and design.
• Assist in the development of project proposals, cost estimates, and schedules.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and standards throughout the design process.
• Collaborate with other team members including architects, structural engineers, and environmental specialists to integrate various design elements into cohesive plans.
• Review and analyze design drawings to identify potential issues or discrepancies and propose solutions.
• Participate in project meetings and coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in technology, and changes in regulations related to civil engineering and AutoCAD software.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes, standards, and best practices within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software with a minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering design.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, practices, and standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with other design software such as Civil 3D, Revit, or MicroStation is a plus.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
• Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain licensure is preferred.
