JOB DETAILS:

Our client, Horyal Investments Holding Company Ltd has commenced the process to operationalize á leading new sugar factory at AtiakUganda ,East Africa. The Factory, jointly owned by the Government of Republic of Uganda ,with annual production capacity(APC). 60,000 Tonnes of granular sugar seeks to recruit competent persons for the following position.
Job Title: Civil Engineer
Reports to: Projects Manager

Purpose:

To design, develop and construct a huge range of the physically, projects and naturally, built environment from conception through to completion

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage, design, develop, create and maintain small scale though to large scale construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner
•  Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blue prints that satisfy technical specifications Assess potential risks, materials and costs
• Provide advice and resolve creativity any emerging problems/deficiencies
• Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders
• Handle over the resulting structures and services for use
• Monitor progress and compile reports in project status
• Manage budget and purchase equipment/materials
• Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety, etc and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required

Specific knowledge & Skills:

• Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar
• Proficiency in site lay out, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals, etc
• Project management and supervision skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• License of professional Engineer

Qualifications

• Proven working experience in civil engineering
• A minimum of 5 years relevant working experience in a large reputable organization
• Age: 35 Years and above

Job Education: Bachelors/Masters in Civil Engineering

Job Experience: 2 years
