Responsible for: Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Officer,
Senior Economist
Job Purpose
To develop comprehensive and integrated City Plans and monitor and evaluate their implementation
Duties and responsibilities;
• Formulating, developing and coordinating City development strategies, plans and budgets;
• Preparing and disseminating performance standards and indicators for the City notes;
• Providing Technical support to Departments in preparation and production of City Development Plans;
• Appraising and determining City investment priorities;
• Coordinating, monitoring and evaluating performance of City Development Plans, programmes and projects;
• Maintaining an up-to-date City Management Information System;
• Developing and maintaining an up-to-dated bank;
• Producing minutes of Technical Planning Committee of the City Council.
Person Specifications
Academic Qualifications
An Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Statistics and Quantitative Economics from a recognized Institution
A master’s degree in any of the above-mentioned fields from a recognized institution.
Work Experience
Should have at least nine (9) years of working experience three (3) of which should have been at a Principal Planner Level in Government or equivalent level from a reputable organization
